The most significant change is the requirement of IRS documentation form 147C, rather than IRS form W-9. Effective 1/11/2008, HUD will not accept previous versions of the SAMS 1111 form. The $100 down payment is for owner occupants purchasing a HUD Home with FHA financing, with full price or higher offers. This incentive is also available to owner occupant purchasers who obtain a FHA Home Repair loan (203K). It's a great time to Purchase a HUD Home with FHA financing.

Registered HUD Agents will need to have both keys to ensure that they can access any HUD home in the states of Texas and New Mexico.

- 7/26/2005 - U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson has announced that the Enterprise Foundation of Dallas, Texas has been selected to purchase up to 200 HUD foreclosed single-family properties in distressed communities in Dallas under the newly revised Asset Control Area Program (ACA). The ACA program allows local governments and HUD approved non-profit organizations to purchase and sell HUD homes in designated revitalization areas to create affordable homeownership opportunities for low to moderate income families and to invigorate neighborhoods by fighting deterioration and improving local housing stock. The Enterprise Foundation will begin the program offering in September, 2005 with a focus on families, teachers and law enforcement officers in the Dallas community earning 115% or less of area median income.
